LPN Wound Care Specialist

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in our Wound Care team, you will provide direct patient care in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. You will assist in changing wound care dressings and documentation, and assist HBO Technician in lifting and moving patients in and out of monoplace Hyperbaric Chambers.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for treatment and assist Nursing Wound Care personnel in wound dressing changes.
- Assist patients to dress and undress, assuring personal safety.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Requirements:
- Current licensure as Licensed Practical Nurse from the Virginia State Board of Nursing.
- American Heart Association BLS Provider certification.
- Previous experience in acute care hospital setting preferred.
