Family Physician Medical Director

The OpportunityWe're seeking a highly skilled and passionate Family Physician Medical Director to join our team in Austin, Texas. As a key member of our leadership team, you'll have the opportunity to lead a team of in-office providers, ensuring that they meet our clinical standards and patient care needs. You'll also be responsible for guiding and supporting providers' professional development, partnering with the Office Manager to create a collaborative and positive office community, and managing communication between your office and other districts, regional, and central teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a team of in-office providers and ensure they meet our clinical standards and patient care needs
- Guide and support providers' professional development
- Partner with the Office Manager to create a collaborative and positive office community
- Manage communication between your office and other districts, regional, and central teams
- Own specific office management and HR functions
- Manage a patient panel with a broad array of patient needs
- Treat patients in-office or in testing centers, as well as conduct occasional tele-health visits
- Enrolled in or completed an accredited Internal or Family Medicine residency program
- Practiced at least 2 of the last 5 years in an outpatient primary care setting, or completed a residency program in the last 5 years
- Minimum of 6 months to 1 year managing a team of providers
- Board certified in Internal or Family Medicine, or Board Eligible with plans to obtain board certification within 1 year of your One Medical start date
- State licensed in Texas, obtained before your One Medical start date
