Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Director

The OpportunityWe're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Office Medical Director to join our team in Austin, Texas. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing a team of providers, ensuring clinical excellence, and driving sustainability in our office. You will work closely with our District Medical Director and Office Manager to solve problems, shape organizational priorities, and develop your management and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a patient panel with a diverse range of patient needs, conducting a mix of acute, chronic, and well visits.
- Treat patients in-office or in testing centers, as well as conduct occasional tele-health visits.
- Lead and support the development of your team of providers, ensuring they meet our clinical standards and patient care needs.
- Partner with the Office Manager to create a collaborative and positive office community.
- Manage communication between your office and other districts, regional, and central teams, representing One Medical to the local community.
- Owning specific office management and HR functions.
- Enrolled in, or have completed, an accredited Internal or Family Medicine residency program.
- Practiced at least 2 of the last 5 years in an outpatient primary care setting, or have completed a residency program in the last 5 years.
- Minimum of 6 months to 1 year managing a team of providers.
- Board certified in Internal or Family Medicine, or Board Eligible with plans to obtain board certification within 1 year of your One Medical start date.
- State licensed in Texas, obtained before your One Medical start date.
