Job Title: Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Water Infrastructure Modeling, Analytics, and Planning (WI-MAP) Team at Garver. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the management and execution of technical components of water industry projects. Your expertise will help lead the execution of water and wastewater infrastructure projects, support regional teams with marketing and business development, participate in industry activities and events, and learn and mentor as part of a growing national resource team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage project schedule, scope, and fee
  • Manage quality assurance and risk management
  • Facilitate workshops with clients
  • Mentor junior staff and coordinate with WI-MAP staff at different office locations
  • Coordinate with regional team client service managers and project managers
  • Coordinate with Water Design Center personnel through design phases of projects
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in civil, environmental engineering, chemical engineering, or mechanical engineering from an ABET accredited program
  • Five or more years of technical experience in water and wastewater with no less than two years of experience in master planning for water and/or wastewater infrastructure
  • Significant experience in execution of master planning projects and development of capital improvement programs
  • Registered as a Professional Engineer (PE) or ability to become registered within six months of start of employment
  • Experience with hydraulic modeling software (e.g., Bentley WaterGEMS, Bentley SewerGEMS, Innoyvze InfoWater, Innovyze InfoWorks ICM)
Preferred Skills:
  • Master's degree in civil or environmental engineering from an ABET accredited program
  • Experience leading water supply, water distribution, wastewater collection system, and/or integrated water master planning projects and development of capital improvement programs
  • Experience with asset management programs for buried, linear water and/or wastewater system assets
