  • Contract Negotiation: Develop, review, and negotiate terms and conditions of supplier contracts for raw materials, equipment, and services.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Manage supplier relationships to ensure suppliers meet our standards, specifications, and client requirements.
  • Procurement Process: Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, service, support, availability, reliability, production, and distribution capabilities.
  • Change Order Management: Manage change orders impacting the contract and handle all aspects of delivering quality materials and equipment.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that suppliers provide the highest quality materials and equipment in correct amounts per specifications and drawings.
  • Vendor Management: Leverage vendors and subcontractors across multiple procurements to create cost savings.
  • Logistics and Shipping: Monitor delivery times and shipments, working with project teams and logistics teams to ensure goods arrive on time and resolve problems related to undelivered goods.
  • Contract Development: Prepare and issue Request for Proposals (RFPs) and evaluate vendor and subcontractor proposals to identify suitable vendors and subcontractors.
  • Team Collaboration: Interface with engineering and construction teams to provide insights on the status of costs, quality, and schedule for materials and equipment.
  • Process Development: Assist in the development of company-wide procurement templates.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in supply chain and contracts, with a focus on contract negotiation, supplier relationship management, and procurement process optimization.
  • Skills: Strong negotiation and communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and experience with database utilization for contract management.
  • Personal Qualities: Highly motivated, skilled communicator, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and a strong work ethic.
