About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled NPI Project Manager to lead our product development and introduction efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and launch of new products, ensuring they meet our high standards for quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and direction to cross-functional teams to develop and launch new products.
  • Ensure the NPI program meets all goal requirements for product function and reliability, program cost/budget, and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead NPI teams in new model development and introduction plans, including establishing performance, quality, cost, and investment targets.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve target costs, establish and achieve reliability targets, establish and achieve time tables, execute the NPI Requirements Management Process, and identify critical customer and business requirements.
  • Ensure all technical, cost, marketing, manufacturing, materials, and test & evaluation problems are addressed and solved.
  • Investigate alternatives and solutions and assign appropriate resources to execute resolution plans.
  • Develop and train team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Communicate and coordinate activities with other NPI teams and marketing companies.
  • Participate in all decisions for NPI concept, design, build & test, release, and production.
Requirements
  • BS in Business or Engineering.
  • Minimum of five years of progressively responsible job-related experience on capital-intensive, highly engineered, long-life cycle product lines.
  • Minimum of three years of Project Management experience.
  • Strong commercial, business, engineering, and manufacturing skills, along with an understanding of product test & development, materials, accounting, and pricing functions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and good leadership & team management capabilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 15% of working time.
Working Conditions

The position will require occasional use of Personal Protective Equipment and may involve work in a non-temperature-controlled environment. The position is located in an industrial environment, including occasional exposure to noise (85+ decibels), occasional exposure to temperature changes, and other hazardous working conditions.
