We are in search of a full-time Audio Visual Lighting Technician II to join our dynamic team.

Ideal candidates will possess experience in Event Technology and have a desire to advance their careers in lighting within a live events context, specifically working with stage lighting equipment, dimming systems, and console programming.

Compensation for this position ranges from $21 to $25 per hour, based on experience.

Key Responsibilities
Shows & Events:

• Setup and focus of lighting fixtures, operation of electrical and dimmer controls, and programming of lighting consoles.

• Knowledge of rigging safety for lighting equipment.

• Proficient computer skills; familiarity with CAD or Vectorworks is advantageous.

• General knowledge and skills in Audio, Lighting, Rigging, Décor, and Staging.

• Responsibilities include pulling equipment, loading in, setting up, operating, taking down, loading out, and performing shop duties.

• Managing warehouse and equipment tasks.

• Additional duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

• A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED is required; some college education is preferred.

• Proven customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with both internal and external clients.

• Adherence to a professional appearance in line with company standards.

• A clean driving record is essential.

• Flexibility to accommodate a varied work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.


The ideal candidate:

• Will have experience in the Event Technology sector, particularly in a hotel or convention center setting.

• Demonstrates a commitment to pursuing a career in live events through relevant work, volunteer experiences, or education in the Event Technology field.

• Possesses a foundational understanding of live event stage lighting and the capacity to learn and master new equipment and systems.

• Exhibits excellent customer service skills, strong interpersonal and communication abilities, organizational skills, a professional demeanor, and effective time management.

Compensation for this Lighting Technician II role is between $21 and $25 per hour, depending on experience.
