Social Recreation Specialist Job Description:Job Overview:

The Neighborhood Association is seeking a compassionate and organized Social Recreation Specialist to provide support to our community members through recreational activities and events. This role requires a passion for working with diverse populations and a commitment to promoting social connections.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement recreation programs that foster social connections among community members;
  • Collaborate with community partners to identify and address social isolation;
  • Provide resources and referrals to community members in need;
  • Document program participation and outcomes;
  • Participate in staff meetings and committee work.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., social work, recreation, education);
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with vulnerable populations;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary and Benefits:

Estimated salary range: $48,000 - $58,000 per year, depending on experience.
