Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our team at Gerald Auto Group. As a Service Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and support throughout their vehicle ownership experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Interaction
    • Provide prompt and courteous greetings to service department customers
    • Listen attentively to customer concerns and clearly articulate repair needs to technicians
  • Service Coordination
    • Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely and efficient repair services
    • Communicate with customers regarding repair status and estimated completion times
  • Upselling and Cross-Selling
    • Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell recommended services to customers
    • Present these opportunities in a professional and non-intrusive manner
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Process customer payments and manage financial transactions
    • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and service history
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the automotive industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
