Gift Shop Sales Leader

Key Accountabilities:
- Nurture relationships with hospital contacts to address concerns, introduce new marketing and products, and follow up on past requests.
- Recruit, coach, and develop sales staff on sales techniques, products, promotions, and procedures.
- Manage and motivate the sales team to meet store sales quotas and ensure excellent customer service.
- Provide performance feedback and set achievable goals for sales staff.
- Identify opportunities to increase sales, employee, and location productivity.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure merchandise availability.
- Implement advertising, sales promotion, and display plans to market merchandise effectively.
- Contribute to a safe working environment by adhering to security standards.
- Handle staff scheduling and intensified customer service issues.
- Execute daily operational procedures with efficiency and due diligence.
- Implement company procedures and policies.
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of retail experience, including 1 year in a store management or supervisory role.
- High School diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
- Experience in evaluating and hiring store personnel.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Capacity to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Flexibility to open and close the store independently when needed.
