Game Nerdz, a prominent retailer in the gaming industry, is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to enhance our dynamic team of over 35 professionals in our expansive 55,000+ sq. ft. distribution center.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Ability to thrive in a high-energy work environment.
  • Preferred: Minimum of 6 months experience in a warehouse setting.
  • Familiarity with operating Powered Industrial Trucks, including stand-up reach trucks or similar equipment (e.g., pallet jacks).
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

Packing Duties:

  • Choose suitable box sizes for items and adhere to company packaging guidelines.
  • Efficiently organize and package customer orders.
  • Ensure our customers receive their orders with the utmost care through meticulous packaging.

Loading and Unloading:

  • Utilize various powered industrial equipment for:
  • Unloading incoming shipments and moving products to the staging area.
  • Inspecting and counting all incoming shipments against purchase orders for accuracy.
  • Documenting any discrepancies, damages, or shortages.
  • Ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed before releasing drivers.
  • Wrapping pallets securely to maintain stability and safety during transport.

Storage and Inventory Management:

  • Transport items from receiving or staging areas to designated warehouse locations.
  • Consolidate similar items to optimize storage space.
  • Conduct inventory counts to verify product quantities.

Receiving, Picking, and Shipping:

  • Receive products according to purchase orders and company policies.
  • Complete forms for any discrepancies or damages.
  • Sort and separate products by item numbers.
  • Prepare pallets for outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy and stability.

Warehouse Maintenance and Safety:

  • Maintain cleanliness in dock areas and assigned aisles as per warehouse policies.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and standards.

Physical Requirements:

  • Regularly required to lift packages weighing up to 50 pounds and assist with moving up to 100 pounds.
  • Work primarily in a warehouse environment with exposure to varying conditions.
  • Moderate noise levels and a fast-paced atmosphere are expected.
  • Flexibility for evening, weekend, or other shifts may be necessary based on operational needs.

All candidates should be aware that additional tasks may be assigned to ensure seamless operations.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
  • Full-Time Position
