Job Description

As a Quality Assurance Manager at Volt, you will be responsible for creating and implementing company quality standards, monitoring and reviewing policies and procedures, and training and motivating employees to ensure quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement company quality standards
  • Accomplish quality assurance objectives by monitoring, reviewing, and enforcing policies and procedures
  • Train and motivate employees to ensure quality standards are met
  • Achieve quality assurance operational objectives by contributing to information analysis
  • Meet financial objectives by estimating requirements, preparing annual budgets, and scheduling expenditures
  • Develop quality assurance plans by conducting hazard analyses and monitoring procedures
  • Validate quality processes by establishing product specifications and quality attributes
  • Maintain and improve product quality by completing product, company, system, and compliance audits
  • Prepare quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
  • Scrap analysis and root cause analysis process
  • Parts measurement and comparison with drawings
  • Plan and run internal audit
  • Evaluate quality deviation requests
  • Collaborate with Process Engineering and Production for Process FMEA initialization
  • Work with vendors for general quality improvements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Excellent data analyzing and review skills
  • Ability to teach and mentor
  • Office 365 professional know-how
  • PDCA approach
  • Six sigma certification is a plus
  • Preferable SAP knowledge

Salary: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
