Responsibilities
  • Perform the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, identification of outcomes, planning, implementation, and evaluation) in the performance of clinical care, utilizing evidence-based practice and analytical/critical thinking to ensure individualized care.
  • Provide relationship-based patient-centered care, adapting service delivery to reflect an understanding of cultural diversity and population-specific characteristics.
  • Partner with patients and significant others to set and achieve goals, using effective communication methods and timely documentation to promote a respectful and inclusive clinical environment.
  • Coordinate the delivery and documentation of safe, quality patient care, promoting the professional care delivery model and demonstrating teamwork and collaboration.
  • Participate in performance improvement, research, and research utilization to promote safe, quality patient care, and actively support shared governance at all levels in the system.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in nursing or graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing.
  • Completion of accredited/approved school of nursing with requisition clinical hours.
  • Minimum 5 years direct patient care experience.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
