Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Nurse to join our Radiation Oncology team at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to individuals undergoing radiation therapy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical support to patients receiving radiation therapy, including pre and post-management and care.
  • Perform patient assessments and offer symptom management to ensure optimal care throughout the healthcare continuum.
  • Participate in the implementation of patient education and clinical support programs to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by promoting open communication and teamwork.
Requirements
  • New York State RN license and BSN required.
  • 1.5 – 2 years of oncology experience preferred, with Radiation Oncology patient management experience highly desirable.
  • Patient education skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
