We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Help Desk Assistant to join our team at Elizabethtown College. Key Responsibilities- Provide technical assistance for personal computer software, classroom audio-visual technology, and college-owned technology.
- Act as the first point of contact for client interaction, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Deliver and set up equipment for individuals and campus events, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
- Assist with the management of computer labs and public campus printers, including paper and toner stocking.
- Collaborate with the Help Desk Supervisor and Client Services staff to achieve daily operational tasks and maintenance of the Help Desk.
- Must be a current student.
- Must have a strong customer-service focus, assisting clients over the phone, by email, and in person.
- Must have solid communication skills to assist clients with remediation steps, both oral and written.
- Must be capable of balancing multiple tasks at once during busy times, maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Interested in information technology systems and willingness to learn troubleshooting methods.
- Previous IT experience or knowledge preferred but not required.
- Previous customer service experience desired but not required.
