In this capacity, you will oversee daily operations within the Customer Service Administrator function to meet mill objectives. Your collaboration will extend to manufacturing teams, Staff Distribution/Deployment, Customer Service, Corporate Transportation, Staff Planning, Sales, and both internal and external Distributor Customers.

Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Uphold safety as a core value by executing all tasks in a secure manner, actively participating in safety initiatives.
  • Manage both on-site and off-site inventory of raw materials, finishing supplies, and finished products, including tracking, reconciling, and reporting.
  • Create daily flow plans for finished goods utilizing SAP.
  • Oversee and manage the trailer pool to meet daily targets at both the mill and external warehouses.
  • Coordinate transportation activities using Trailer Management for RF/RM/Broke and Virgin materials.
  • Utilize PIMS to monitor production rates and adjust orders as necessary.
  • Schedule customer order loading and stock transfers using SAP Outbound Shipping Monitor.
  • Mentor third-party contractors in their daily tasks, addressing any safety concerns that arise.
  • Familiarize yourself with all material flow processes and guide third-party contractors on internal control procedures and loading requirements.
  • Manage the driver interface.
  • Ensure timely receipt of all incoming materials in SAP.
  • Prioritize unloading of materials to minimize trailer detention.
  • Adhere to the after-hours receiving process for materials.
  • Support mill operations during off shifts to facilitate the intake of materials or parts.
  • Monitor asset production using PIMS; adjust pickup times with carriers as needed.
  • Generate load-ahead reports to ensure availability of loads for loading.
  • Coordinate loading of parent rolls to align with the paper machine schedule.
  • Communicate any shipping challenges with Central Transportation.
  • Collaborate with Customer Service to ensure timely and accurate order completion.
  • Interface with other Administrators, Technicians, and Day Resources.
  • Lead task teams and engage with all mill departments.
  • Participate in the Loudon Mill High Performance Work System.
  • Contribute to other Material Flow functions as required.

Shift/Schedule: 12-hour Rotating Shift (6:00 am – 6:00 pm or 6:00 pm – 6:00 am). The schedule follows the Operations rotating shift pattern.

  • Basic computer skills, mechanical aptitude, and strong math skills are essential.
  • Self-motivated and organized with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Ability to maintain a 12-hour rotating shift schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Capable of passing pre-employment assessments and screenings.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, SAP, Trailer Management, and Plant Apps is preferred.
  • Current Kimberly-Clark employees must not be on a Performance Improvement Plan or have active attendance violations.
