Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Associate to join our team at Timberline Lodge. As a Front Desk Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, processing room check-ins and check-outs, and handling various administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Service: Greet guests, process room check-ins and check-outs, and provide information necessary for a safe and enjoyable guest experience.
  • Front Desk Operations: Process payments, balance cash and credit card transactions, and run reports.
  • Communication: Answer guest inquiries, answer phones, and issue keys and banks to individual departments.
  • Administrative Tasks: Process necessary paperwork, sell lift tickets and snow park passes, and complete various weekly and monthly duties as assigned.
  • Problem-Solving: Ensure guest and employee concerns are resolved in a professional and timely manner.
Requirements
  • Service-Oriented Personality: Must have a service-oriented personality and be able to provide exceptional guest service.
  • Attention to Detail: Must be detail-oriented and able to set and meet high customer service standards.
  • Communication Skills: Must use proper etiquette while conversing with guests and be able to communicate effectively with colleagues.
  • Knowledge of Resort Services: Must have a strong basic knowledge of resort services and be able to adapt to a fast-paced changing environment.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to lift 50 lbs, work in tight spaces, and stand and walk for up to 8 hours at a time.
Working Conditions

The Front Desk Associate will work in a fast-paced environment and be required to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team to provide exceptional guest service.
