Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Performance Engineer to join our team in the Energetics and Propulsion Department. As a key member of our engineering organization, you will be responsible for developing advanced technologies and concepts for fuzing devices, controllers, software, mechanical, and electrical interfaces for integration into missile systems and space vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review manufacturing processes and problem resolution, working directly with subcontractors on the design and manufacturing of fuzing devices.
  • Collaborate with program management in long-range program planning.
  • Manage fuzing device development projects and propulsion subcontracts.
  • Develop and lead collaborative efforts with other technical disciplines, including mechanical, electrical, and systems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) or related degree and 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced degree and 3 years of relevant experience.
  • 5 years or more of experience in fuzing / one shots / engineering technology and/or engineering design.
  • Experience with fuzing devices design, manufacturing, testing, safety certification, and/or compliance.
  • S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Education
  • MS in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Math, or related science degree.
  • Seven years or more of directly related experience in fuzing devices and their applications.
