Housekeeping Operations Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Housekeeping Operations Manager to join our team at DelMonte Hotel Group. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and service in our hotel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the Housekeeping, Laundry, and Bistro departments to ensure efficient and safe operation.
  • Assign tasks and inspect work to ensure conformance to prescribed standards of cleanliness.
  • Investigate complaints and take corrective action to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Manage the Lost and Found program and maintain accurate inventory of supplies.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including maintaining department budget, processing payroll, and forecasting room occupancy.
Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of experience in housekeeping or a related field.
  • Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to manage and supervise a staff, work as part of a team, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
