About the Role:
As a Site Reliability Engineer at S&P Global, you will be part of a dynamic team that works closely with the Business, RSO, Developers, and Product teams to enhance the stability of our Pega-based workflow applications. Although we do not develop code, we have the ability to analyze existing code, replicate issues in lower environments, and provide workarounds to users and reproducible steps to scrum teams to provide production solutions for permanent fixes. Our team strives to become full-stack engineers to better support our user base.

Responsibilities and Impact:
• Confer with systems analysts, engineers, programmers, and others to design systems and obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements, and interfaces.
• Coordinate the installation of software systems.
• Develop or direct software system testing or validation procedures, programming, or documentation.
• Modify existing software to correct errors, adapt it to new hardware platforms, or upgrade interfaces and improve performance.
• Store, retrieve, and manipulate data for analysis of system capabilities and requirements.
• Supervise the work of colleagues, technologists, technicians, and other scientific personnel.

Compensation and Benefits:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $98,000 to $145,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual's geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses, and certifications. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is not eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus or sales commission plan. This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 8 years of Pega experience through version 8.X.
• Work with Pega tools such as Clipboard, Tracer, SMA, PLA, and PAL.
• Understand Pega administration with WebSphere Application server.
• Design and execute SQL scripts for backend data fixes.
• Splunk Monitoring.
• Soft Skills: Effective Communications, Collaboration, Awareness.
