Caregiver - Direct Support Professional (DSP) - Mon-Fri - Flexible Schedule - Hours Vary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our team at Caregiver Inc. in Nashville, TN. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in providing personalized support and care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Facilitate daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dining skills, and housekeeping skills.
- Provide direct support and assistance to consumers in training activities and daily routines.
- Assist with medication administration and treatment according to company policy.
- Act as a Primary Person (P2) for one or more consumers, ensuring their wellbeing and safety at all times.
- Attend and complete in-service training sessions as scheduled.
- Participate in the Individual Support Team and contribute to the development of consumer ISPs.
- A high school education or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience in supporting individuals with disabilities is preferred.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Valid driver's license and good driving record are preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
