SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Under general oversight, the role entails the management of spooling and securing capillary tubing utilized in artificial lift mechanisms, collaborating closely with client representatives during installations or removals at oil and gas operational sites.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND TASKS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
  • Availability for on-call duties around the clock
  • Daily travel to field locations using company-provided vehicles
  • Spooling cable onto capillary reels while extracting tubing from wells
  • Securing capillary tubing to equipment as downhole apparatus and tubing are deployed into wells
  • Maintenance of service vehicles and trailers, conducting daily inspections to ensure adherence to transportation regulations
  • Accurate completion of transportation logbooks and inspection documentation for office records
  • Filling out daily timesheets
  • Performing field assessments and testing capillary strings post-extraction from wells
  • Gathering data during evaluations to provide clients with insights on capillary tubing conditions
  • Adapting swiftly to changing job tasks and demonstrating flexibility to work overtime with minimal notice
  • Assisting with workover rig operations on-site as necessary
HEALTH, SAFETY, AND ENVIRONMENTAL (EHS) REQUIREMENTS:
  • Execute all tasks safely, adhering to safety protocols aligned with the company's incident rate objectives
  • Comply with environmental standards to support the company's sustainability goals
  • Engage in all required EHS training programs
  • Maintain a clean driving record in line with company insurance policies
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School diploma or equivalent educational background
  • Preferred experience of at least one year in workover, capillary, or electrical submersible pump operations
  • Capability to read and understand basic instructions, brief correspondence, and memos
  • Ability to compose simple correspondence as needed
  • Proficiency in basic arithmetic operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • Familiarity with basic hand tools
  • Basic computer skills necessary for operating computerized testing equipment
  • Capacity to regularly lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds
  • A combination of the above qualifications may also be considered
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS:
  • Must be capable of standing for prolonged periods
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to bend, reach, kneel, twist, and grip items while performing tasks
  • Manual dexterity and coordination to operate hand and mechanical tools are required
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Must handle shifting priorities and complete tasks despite frequent interruptions
  • Must respond effectively to visual and auditory signals
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English is essential
WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The work setting is typically at client rig sites during standard or extended hours, encompassing all weather conditions.
