Key Responsibilities
  • Sample Waste Streams: Collect and analyze waste samples to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Manifesting and Packaging: Prepare and package waste for transportation, ensuring accurate labeling and documentation.
  • Spill Response and Remediation: Respond to spills and accidents, and implement remediation procedures to minimize environmental impact.
  • Transportation Coordination: Arrange for the transportation of waste to designated facilities, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
  • Sampling and Profiling: Conduct regular sampling and profiling of waste streams to ensure compliance with regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field preferred.
  • Certifications: 40-hour HAZWOPER Certification required; valid Driver's License and ability to obtain Class A or B Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with Hazardous (H) endorsement.
  • Skills: Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks.
