The Security Officer is responsible for a variety of safety and security functions, including:

  • Conducting patrols and detection services
  • Providing assistance to customers
  • Managing response and intervention tasks

  • Performing weapons screening in a professional manner
  • Executing additional assigned responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications:

Certifications and Licensures:

  • Driver's License (State of Florida)
  • IAHSS (Security) - Within 1 year
  • Security D - Within 90 days
  • Preferred: FDLE (Law Enforcement)

Education:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Preferred: Associate's Degree in a Related Field

Experience:

  • 1 year in Customer Service
  • Preferred: 2 years in Security
  • Preferred: 1 year in Healthcare or related field
  • Preferred: 1 year in a Hospital-related environment

Facility: St. Anthony's Hospital

Status: Full Time

Shift Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Weekend Work: Every
