Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced District Safety Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our students, staff, and property. This is a critical role that requires a strong commitment to creating a safe and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide for the safety and security of students, personnel, and property
  • Work closely with students and school administrators to support a safe environment
  • Establish good working relationships with building administrators, co-workers, custodians, and faculty
  • Be familiar with the facilities to execute assigned duties in a professional and timely manner
  • Participate in arrival and dismissal processes of students and may be required to assist with school functions
  • Continue to upgrade professional skills by attending workshops, seminars, staff meetings, etc. as scheduled by the Director of Safety and Security
  • Submit field reports to the Director of Safety and Security and building administrator when warranted
Requirements
  • High school diploma required
  • Experience in the security industry preferred
  • Ability and personality to work with students, colleagues, teachers, and other staff
  • Successful completion of a background check by Human Resources
Terms of Employment

12-month position with a competitive salary and benefits package.
