We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join our team on a per-diem basis. As a CRNA, you will be responsible for providing safe and effective anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
Responsibilities- Perform pre-operative assessments, write pre-op orders, and administer anesthesia under the medical direction of an anesthesiologist.
- Monitor patients intra-operatively, ensure safe emergence, and assist with post-operative care.
- Stay up-to-date with current nursing, anesthesia, and critical care techniques, including pharmacology, dosage, and contraindications of all drugs used in anesthesia practice.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in educational, supervisory, and administrative tasks, including supervision of student anesthetists when assigned.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nurse anesthesia.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Valid California Registered Nurse license.
- Valid California Nurse Anesthetist license.
- Current certification by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
- Valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification by the American Heart Association.
