CRNA Per-Diem Nurse

Job Summary:
The University of California, Irvine seeks a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team. As a CRNA, you will be responsible for providing high-quality anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Perform all duties and tasks under the medical direction of an anesthesiologist.
- Conduct pre-operative assessments, write pre-op orders, and administer anesthesia to patients.
- Monitor patients intra-operatively and provide safe anesthesia care.
- Assist in post-operative care and transport patients to the recovery room.
- Recognize and respond to post-operative complications and initiate emergency treatment as needed.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited school of nurse anesthesia.
- Valid California Nurse Anesthetist license.
- Valid California Registered Nurse license.
- Current certification by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Working Conditions:
This is a per-diem position, and the successful candidate will be required to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
