Receptionist - Annenberg Position

Job Summary:
The Receptionist and Administrative Assistant will provide mail and message services to clients, assist with telephone and direct in-person information and referral services, and maintain a smooth flow of services throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Retrieve messages from voicemail, sort mail, file mail away, and distribute mail daily.
- Enroll and re-enroll clients in the mail program, maintain the mail database system, and keep organized and up to date with new enrolled clients and expired mail agreements.
- Manage mail forwards and package lists, purge mail that is outdated, and answer and route incoming phone calls.
- Provide crisis intervention as needed, attend all staff meetings, trainings, and retreats, and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High School/GED degree, ability to lift at least 35 lbs, and pass a criminal background check and provide an adequate current TB test.
- Great organizational skills, minimum of one year demonstrated experience in a responsible receptionist position, and working knowledge of a telephone system and its appropriate use.
- Excellent customer service and human relations skills, commitment to improving the community through empowerment and dignity, and ability to multitask.
- Computer literate, able to use a computerized database system for information management, and proficient in Microsoft office suite: Excel, Word, One Drive, Microsoft 365, etc.
