Vann York Auto Group is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Automotive Title Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for processing new and used vehicle registrations, preparing tax and title documents, and submitting legal transfer work to the Department of Motor Vehicles.
Key Responsibilities- Vehicle Registration: Process all new and used vehicles for registration in the state in which they will be titled.
- Document Preparation: Prepare tax and title documents, including payoff checks for new vehicles and trade-ins.
- Transfer Work: Submit all legal transfer work to the Department of Motor Vehicles.
- Inventory Management: Stock in and post new vehicle factory invoices, and post all wholesale vehicle sales.
- Auction Coordination: Prepare titles for auction and submit via postal service, and receive all money that comes in for the sale of the auction.
- Administrative Tasks: Perform other duties as needed, including looking up stock numbers for all incoming titles.
- Experience: Title Clerk experience is required.
- Certification: Certified Notary Public for the state of North Carolina is required.
- Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word, strong attention to detail, and ability to multi-task.
- Availability: Must be available to work 8a-5p.
