Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Millennium Physician Group. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a critical role in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with pulmonary disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests to assess lung function and diagnose respiratory conditions.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with physicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Administer aerosol medications and chest physiotherapy to patients as needed.
  • Collect and analyze sputum, blood, and breath specimens to determine levels of oxygen, carbon dioxide, and other gases.
  • Monitor and record patients' progress in the electronic medical record system.
  • Teach patients how to use equipment such as ventilators and administer medications.
  • Provide excellent patient care and adhere to company standards of behavior.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An associate's degree and a credential of either CRT or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
  • 1-2 years of experience in respiratory therapy, including ICU/CCU ventilator management.
  • Certification in the State of Florida and current CPR certification.
  • 16 CEUs every 2 years.
