We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with a strong positive attitude toward customer service to join our team at Friendship Village, a premier Life Plan Community located in St. Louis.
About the Role:The Assisted Living Nurse will provide direct nursing care to residents in a 24-hour operation, delegating and supervising the care provided by nursing assistants. The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in geriatric care, be able to motivate while maintaining relationships with staff and residents, and strive to do the best job possible.
Responsibilities:- Administer medications, perform treatments and procedures, obtain specimens as needed, and complete documentation as required.
- Provide daily supervision and leadership to assigned staff and directly provide nursing care to residents as assigned.
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living, family/social activities, and actively promote independent lifestyle of residents.
- Initiate the individual plan of care based on health care goals, physician's orders, and nursing assessments.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for resident comfort and convenience.
- Respond to all call lights promptly and maintain continuous communication with physician and D.O.N.
- Registered Nurse with a current State of Missouri license.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
