Homeless Services Culinary Leader

About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and compassionate Culinary Leader to join our Interim Housing team at YWCA location. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the preparation of large quantities of food, ensuring the commercial kitchen runs smoothly, and maintaining high standards of health and safety codes.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in professional kitchen management, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively with a diverse team. They must also possess strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities- Manage daily kitchen operations, including meal planning, grocery shopping, and inventory control.
- Oversee a team of cooks and kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
- Ensure that all meals meet high nutritional standards and are served on time.
- Maintain accurate records of food usage, waste, and inventory levels.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of services and smooth day-to-day operations.
We offer a competitive salary range of $24.78-$30.20 per hour, commensurate with experience. This position also includes a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid vacation and sick leave, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
