Job Summary

Lead day-to-day operations of the plant in the production of high-quality corn products that provide value to customers and a return to shareholders. Ensure safety and compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations, and be proactive in your support, leadership, and participation in the company safety program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day plant operations, including regular inspections and oversight.
  • Work with Plant Superintendents and Department Superintendents to support Continuous Improvement activities in the plant.
  • Ensure that Incident Investigation Reports are completed in a timely manner for incidents that occur on your shift.
  • Maintain an understanding and proactively address quality issues throughout the plant.
  • Coordinate and follow through on personnel issues that arise on shift with the appropriate Plant Leadership.
  • Mentor Shift Supervisors and operators, and provide input on hourly shift personnel to Department Supervisors.
  • Assist with trouble-shooting and problem-solving in the field when necessary.
  • Direct oversight of rail switching activities and oversight of the railroading contractor.
  • Indirect oversight of contractors doing work in the facility.
Requirements
  • Previous work experience managing people and production processes.
  • ADM safety orientation and ongoing OSHA required plant safety training.
  • Basic knowledge of process equipment.
