Job Title: Data Center Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Technician to join our team at Equiliem. As a Data Center Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing data center infrastructure, including cable and fiber optic systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and terminate cable and fiber optic systems
  • Maintain and repair existing data center infrastructure
  • Perform cable management and labeling
  • Install and configure network equipment
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 0-2 years of experience in data center technician role
  • Active OSHA 10 certification
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and move up to 75 pounds. Ability to work on your feet for extended periods.

Tools and Equipment:
  • Basic hand tools (screwdriver, tape measure, snips, pliers)
  • Punch down tool
  • Flashlight
  • Work boots (steel toe or composite toe)
  • Gloves and tool pouch
Working Conditions:

Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
