We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Retail Pharmacist to oversee daily operations and lead the pharmacy team effectively at one of our valued community health partners in the region. This is a temporary contract role with potential for a contract-to-hire transition based on performance and suitability for the role.
Key Responsibilities- Operational Leadership: Oversee daily operations of the retail pharmacy, including opening and closing procedures, to ensure seamless delivery of services.
- Team Management: Supervise and support a team of experienced pharmacy technicians to optimize productivity and efficiency.
- Medication Dispensing: Ensure accurate and efficient dispensing of medications, with a daily volume of approximately prescriptions, utilizing the Rx30 software system for pharmacy management.
- Interim Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) Role: Take on the PIC role, with the option to start as a Staff Pharmacist to assess the pharmacy and team, and leverage experience with the 340B Drug Pricing Program, if applicable.
- Arkansas Pharmacist License: Current Arkansas Pharmacist License in good standing.
- Operational Experience: Proven experience in opening and closing retail pharmacies.
- Team Supervision: Demonstrated ability to supervise and manage pharmacy technicians.
- 340B Experience: Experience with 340B is a plus.
- Flexibility: Willingness to take on the PIC role, with flexibility to start as a Staff Pharmacist if needed.
- Soft Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Well-Run Pharmacy: Work with a well-run and well-managed pharmacy with a strong tech team in place.
- Contract-to-Hire Opportunity: Opportunity for contract to hire based on performance and fit.
- Community Impact: Be part of a transition team that plays a crucial role in the community health center's pharmacy services.
