Job Summary

Responsibilities

Provide services for associates according to BSMH policies and procedures, professional standards, federal regulations, and CDC recommendations.
Maintain current knowledge of associate health regulations, recommendations, and accreditation standards applicable to BSMH facilities.
Assist BSMH managers and staff with compliance and provide input to policy/procedures, guidelines, protocols related to associate health services.
Participate in surveillance activities to identify associate health risks and perform surveillance on associate health records, including new hires, maintaining them in a confidential manner.
Collaborate with Associate Health Medical Director, Infection Prevention to prevent the spread of communicable disease between patients and staff, Wellness team for referrals and consultations.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science Nursing degree
Registered Nurse in the state practicing
BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association certification
A minimum of 3-5 years of clinical nursing experience
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and analyzing data or information
Strong written and communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
