Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Communication Associate to join our team at Western States CAT. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing world-class customer communication and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Communication: Act as the first point of contact for internal and external customers, providing timely and professional communication to resolve customer inquiries and issues.
  • Call Handling: Relay incoming and outgoing calls based on call type and customer needs, ensuring that all calls are handled efficiently and effectively.
  • Problem Solving: Use logic and reasoning to problem-solve and provide excellent customer care, escalating non-standard or difficult calls to the Customer Communication Supervisor as needed.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions, including details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken.
  • Quality Standards: Meet or exceed customer care and quality standards, adhering to all customer care standards and promoting corporate vision, mission, and values.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
  • Experience: Minimum six months equivalent experience using a multi-line telecommunication system to provide world-class customer service to external and internal customers preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent listening and verbal communication skills, ability to remain calm and de-escalate conflict, and ability to use logic and reasoning to problem-solve.
Working Conditions
  • Safety: Must be able to meet all safety requirements for applicable safety policies.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to sit for long periods of time, as well as walk, stand, climb stairs, reach, push, pull, lean, and twist.
