Assembly Technician

We are currently seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at a medical company. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for operating and supporting the operation of assigned manufacturing equipment, understanding and following all QSR, ISO, Safety and Legal requirements, and conducting line inspections in accordance with approved processes and/or established procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and support operation of assigned manufacturing equipment
- Understand and follow all QSR, ISO, Safety and Legal requirements
- Conduct line inspections in accordance with approved processes and/or established procedures
- Set-up, perform adjustments, and operate basic production equipment; communicate equipment problems to work cell lead; must document issues in required documents or log books
- Stage materials for specified job and complete daily labor tracking sheets
- Complete the documentation for operations performed by self
- Verify drawing and documentation revision numbers
- Provide basic guidance to new employees
- Meet and support established production goals
- Collect, record, and enter trending data into spreadsheets
- Understand and is aware of the quality consequences which may occur from the improper performance of their specific job
- Responsible for exhibiting professional behavior with both internal/external business associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the company's policies and practices
- Carry out duties in compliance with established business policies
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment is preferred
- Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Basic math skills and the ability to use measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers)
- Ability to lift and carry materials and products up to [specific weight, e.g., 50 lbs]
