Job Summary: Luke is in search of a proficient Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist who is eager to leverage their skills and contribute positively to patient care. This role is essential for providing anesthesia services at a prominent medical facility.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Educational Background: Master’s degree in nursing.
  • Accreditation: Graduate from a National League of Nursing accredited institution and completion of an anesthesia program recognized by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthetists (COA).
  • Certification: Valid certification from either the Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists, the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA), or the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
  • Additional Credentials: Current hands-on certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and a DEA registration number.
  • Experience: Demonstrated experience in administering epidural anesthesia and monitoring various anesthesia modalities.
  • Licensure: Must hold an active and unrestricted license to practice as a registered nurse anesthetist.
  • Other Requirements: U.S. citizenship, proficiency in English, and physical capability to perform job duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the anesthesia process for patients, conduct preoperative assessments, administer diverse anesthesia types, monitor patient responses, and manage fluid therapy.
  • Maintain and ensure the cleanliness of anesthesia equipment.

Work Schedule:

  • Shifts may vary, including 8, 10, or 12-hour schedules, with potential weekend and holiday work.
  • Maximum service hours will not exceed 80 hours in a two-week period; any overtime requires prior approval.
  • Work on federally recognized holidays may be necessary.

Compensation During Downtime:

Compensation during planned facility closures will be based on actual hours worked; leave or LWOP is required for non-working days.
