At Honda and Toyota of Seattle, we are seeking a skilled Logistics and Inventory Specialist to join our team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the smooth operation of our parts department.

About the Role:

This position involves maintaining accurate parts inventory, shipping and receiving orders, and assisting with routine audits. The successful candidate will be responsible for stocking shelves, organizing bins, and conducting perpetual bin audits. Additionally, they will check-in daily orders from manufacturers, process monthly returns, and work closely with wholesale parts representatives.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. They should also be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and possess a working knowledge of computers.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate parts inventory, including stocking shelves, organizing bins, and conducting perpetual bin audits.
  • Ship, deliver, and receive parts orders.
  • Check-in daily orders from manufacturers and process monthly returns.
  • Work closely with wholesale parts representatives in managing incoming and outgoing orders.
  • Maintain detailed delivery logs when handling returns and funds.
  • Assist with physical parts inventory annually.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in logistics or inventory management.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
