To address this evolving challenge, we are seeking a dedicated Sustainability Regulatory Reporting Supervisor. This role will collaborate across various business units and engage with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure comprehensive end-to-end controls.

The Sustainability Regulatory Reporting Supervisor will work closely with the Controllership and Sustainability teams, taking charge of sustainability and ESG-related data management, as well as overseeing internal and external regulatory reporting processes throughout the organization. Additionally, this position will provide strategic leadership on sustainability reporting initiatives.

Key Responsibilities of the Sustainability Regulatory Reporting Supervisor include, but are not limited to:

  • Collaborating with the Controllership and Sustainability teams to enhance financial reporting related to sustainability and ESG: Emphasizing non-financial accounting, data integrity, compliance with regulations, and reporting standards. Ensuring adherence to frameworks such as CSRD, SEC, CA, ISSB, and other relevant reporting obligations. Supporting a centralized oversight function that promotes local compliance while managing risks effectively. Staying informed about global regulatory changes and ensuring company compliance with the latest corporate requirements. Driving the implementation of innovative technology and reporting solutions to improve ESG reporting capabilities and regulatory alignment.
  • Partnering with Internal Audit to establish and refine internal control standards for sustainability and ESG reporting: Leading the development of internal controls surrounding sustainability and ESG data. Supporting internal and external audits of sustainability and ESG disclosures and reports. Enhancing the quality control processes for sustainability and ESG data to improve reporting accuracy. Facilitating governance and control activities.
  • Engaging in cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders throughout the organization.
  • Reporting directly to Albany's Senior Manager of Sustainability & EHS.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20-30% as required, particularly during the initial phases of the role.
