About the Job

D.R. Horton, Inc., a leading homebuilder in the U.S., is seeking a skilled Superintendent to manage the construction of homes in Florida. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction process, ensuring quality and safety standards are met, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the construction schedule and ensure timely completion of projects
  • Schedule and supervise subcontractors, conduct quality control inspections, and maintain company standards
  • Coordinate with customers, sales teams, and management to ensure a smooth construction process
  • Monitor community cleanliness and maintain a safe working environment
  • Manage post-close processes, including warranty and customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with the sales, customer warranty, and management teams to resolve issues and improve quality
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2-4 years of related experience in construction management
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ability to learn company applications
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, lift up to 50 pounds, and stand for extended periods
