Key Responsibilities:

  • We are looking for a candidate who excels in a dynamic environment while providing clients with outstanding services:
  • Conduct third-party monitoring and auditing of mitigation agreements related to national security; experience in National Security Advisory is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Draft proposals in response to Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
  • Maintain client relationships and customize engagements to align with client expectations.
  • Assume a prominent leadership role during client engagements: devise strategies and deliver solutions while managing relationships at all levels.
  • Establish a framework of excellence over Enterprise Governance & Cybersecurity Risk Assessments, Data Privacy, Internal Audit, and strategic client initiatives.
  • Effectively manage priorities, budgets, timelines, and workloads while overseeing and developing staff during client engagements.
  • Build client trust and engage in business development activities.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of commonly utilized IT governance, risk, and compliance frameworks.
  • Identify solutions, formulate incident response plans, and generate reports.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor junior staff and seniors.
  • May require occasional extended hours or travel to different firm offices and/or client locations.

Basic Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 6+ years of experience in IT risk advisory and/or cybersecurity.
  • Proficient knowledge of advanced technologies and software-driven security solutions.
  • Ability to ensure that mechanisms are in place to identify sophisticated cyber threats while adhering to strict compliance mandates.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting/Finance, Computer Science, MIS, or a related field in IT or Cybersecurity.
  • 6+ years of experience in Professional Services/Consulting, Internal Audit, Risk Management, IT Operations, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Possession of relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or CIPM/CIPP.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong familiarity with NIST and other Information Security Management System (ISMS) frameworks, including:
    • NIST
    • ISO 27001
    • COBIT
    • PCI DSS
    • GDPR
    • CCPA and CPRA
  • CMMC Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification.
