Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HVAC Customer Resource Coordinator to join our team at Johnson Controls. As a key member of our service operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring timely and efficient delivery of services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive and schedule customer calls for service, ensuring timely completion of preventative maintenance and alignment with monthly forecasting goals.
  • Manage the schedule of assigned technicians and mechanics, ensuring effective communication and coordination to resolve concerns quickly.
  • Partner with the Service Team Manager to ensure technical service work is completed in a reasonable timeframe and to the customer's expectations.
  • Analyze and assess technical team performance, adjusting as needed to enhance customer satisfaction and cost-effectiveness.
  • Assess job completion and collaborate with Customer Billing Coordinators and Customer Support Coordinators to progress completed jobs through the appropriate business process.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required, plus a minimum of 2 years of service industry experience managing service operations and/or service scheduling.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with both internal and external clients.
  • Ability to simultaneously handle a large and diverse number of projects, tasks, and issues with tact, cooperation, and persistence.
  • Able to prioritize work activities based on financial impact to desired business goals.
  • Able to influence diverse teams to accomplish tasks/goals.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associates degree preferred.
  • Candidate should possess a background in a building management system / controls industry.
  • Experience and/or basic project accounting or costing principles is desired.
