Your Responsibilities

As a Behavior Specialist at UNIFI, your duties will include:

  • Implementing individualized programming as outlined by the supervising clinician.
  • Adhering to behavior intervention strategies, including safety protocols.
  • Gathering data and completing required documentation and billing.
  • Administering medications to patients when necessary.
  • Participating actively in scheduled meetings and training sessions.
  • Collaborating professionally with the entire UNIFI team.
  • Maintaining patient confidentiality in line with UNIFI and HIPAA regulations.
  • Ensuring a safe environment for patients and promoting a positive workplace culture.

Work Environment

Your work will take place in various settings, including therapy clinics, patients' homes, educational institutions, and community spaces. Travel between sessions is compensated, and mileage can be reimbursed. To minimize travel, you will be assigned to a specific area.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Successful completion of a background check.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and active auto insurance.
  • CPR certification (provided by UNIFI).
  • Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, and perform various physical activities.
