Job Summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a Medical Assistant Supervisor to oversee the performance of medical assistants and licensed practical nurses in our Bellevue Medical Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing patient flow, performing procedures, and assisting with administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the performance of medical assistants and licensed practical nurses
  • Manage patient flow and perform procedures as needed
  • Assist with administrative duties, including quality assessment and improvement
  • Collaborate with the Nurse Manager and Clinic Manager to achieve organizational goals

Requirements:

  • Certified Medical Assistant with the State of Washington
  • Over a year of ambulatory and supervisory experience
  • Working knowledge of OB/GYN medical terminology and procedures
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to provide patient education and demonstrate knowledge and skills to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served
