Job Description

Job Summary:

KLA is seeking a highly skilled Senior Applications Development Engineer to support the development and implementation of reticle inspection products. The successful candidate will be responsible for characterizing next-generation semiconductor reticle inspection products, providing customer support, and conducting use-case demos to showcase tool performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Development: Design and execute test plans, collect and analyze data, and publish results and recommendations in the form of application notes and best known methods.
  • Customer Support: Provide product value demonstrations, investigate semiconductor manufacturing yield issues, and offer inspection solutions to customers.
  • Use-Case Demos: Conduct new tool demonstrations to showcase tool performance and develop use cases to drive tool sales.

Requirements:

  • Education: Master's degree in Engineering, Physics, Material Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
  • Skills: Ability to perform complex data/image analysis using Excel, Matlab, Python, JMP, or other data-analysis tools. Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience: 0-1 year of work experience in Applications Engineering in IC processing/Semiconductor equipment.
