Position Overview

Practical Nursing Specialist (PNS)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Alert the Registered Nurse or Clinical Director regarding any alterations in the client's health status.
  • Manage the insertion and maintenance of tubes and Foley catheters.
  • Deliver oxygen therapy via mask or cannula.
  • Prepare necessary equipment and materials for medical treatments.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Valid LPN/LVN license issued by the State Board of Nursing in Florida.
  • Current CPR certification in accordance with American Heart Association standards.
  • Minimum of one year of nursing experience.
  • Negative TB/PPD test or Chest X-Ray conducted within the past year.
  • Successful completion of a skills assessment relevant to the areas of expertise.
