The Culinary Intern is tasked with assisting in the delivery of exceptional food and beverage service to guests. This role involves taking customer orders, serving food and drinks, preparing detailed checks, and occasionally processing payments.

Additional responsibilities may include guiding guests to their tables, serving patrons at counters, setting up and clearing tables, and operating a cash register.

It is essential to verify the identification of guests to ensure compliance with age restrictions for alcohol purchases. The intern is expected to provide top-notch service to all guests in a friendly and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to all standards and regulations to promote safe and efficient operations.

  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the menu offerings and daily specials.
  • Deliver food and beverage orders to guests in a warm, courteous, and professional manner.
  • Clear, clean, and reset tables as required.
  • Become proficient in the operation of the Point of Sale (P.O.S.) system.
  • Handle cashiering duties, including closing checks and completing end-of-shift paperwork.
  • Execute opening and closing procedures and complete assigned side work.
  • Ensure tables and service stations are well-stocked, tidy, and clean.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors or management.
