Job Summary:

The Intersite Treatment Center Coordinator plays a vital role in the department of Pediatric Dentistry at Boston University. This position is responsible for executing daily intersite coordination activities under the direction of the Treatment Center Manager and Clinical Program Director.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with front desk staff, faculty, and residents to ensure efficient patient transitions between dental sites.
  • Administer the management of special needs patients, including scheduling Telehealth visits, obtaining medical information, and coordinating advanced care coordination between dental specialties.
  • Maintain a record of patients requiring complex coordination support and schedule Telehealth visits accordingly.
  • Ensure excellent communication between all Post Doc clinical sites and maintain orderly records of these communications.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 3-5 years of related administrative experience in an academic/healthcare environment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in Microsoft Office and reporting
